Governor Okorocha Receives Warm Reception

Governor Okorocha is welcoming people in the streets.

It is worth mentioning, that before the official results of the presidential election were announced by the INEC, Okorocha was one of the first politicians who had already sent congratulatory message to the All Progressives Congress candidate. The governor described Muhammadu Buhari’s victory as divine and added:

“By virtue of Buhari’s victory, Ndigbo and Imo people in particular, can now appreciate the wisdom behind his decision to be part of the merger.”

Shortly after the announcement of the final results, Okorocha hailed Goodluck Jonathan for conceding defeat and congratulating Muhammadu Buhari over his victory at the presidential election.
